Here lies the journal of some of my trips to the Compaq, now HP, Accredited System Engineers conferences.  The first one I went to was in San Diego in 1998.  I've been to most of them since, in '99 we went to Toronto, in 2002 we were in St. Louis, 2003 was in Atlanta, followed by Chicago in 2004.  In 2005, the conference was supposed to be in New Orleans, but Hurricane Katrina put a damper on that.  The conference was rescheduled for Orlando a few weeks later, and at the end of the week, people hurried out of town as Hurricane Wilma bore down.  2006 brought the show to Houston, and the shows in 2007 and 2008 were both held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.  The 2008 was a special show for me, as it marked my 10 year anniversary as a Master ASE, the highest level of certification HP awards.
